Set along term goal.

You can check an adjust your goals as per your progress. You will start getting frustrated if you don't advance. Remember, that learning music is a life-long journey.

2]Focus[Avoid Distraction]:

- Practice in a place where no one will disturb you and you don't have to worry about disturbing others.

Log out from social media, keep your mobile aside and concentrate.

3]Warm-up:

Like a physical workout, a warm-up is essential. But don’t just plough through the same warm-up routine every-time and let your mind wander – a warm-up isn't just about getting your muscles moving. Take it as an opportunity to prepare your body and mind for work and take stock of how you're feeling, how you're breathing, the tension your body is holding and why you are doing that particular exercise.

Your warm-up doesn’t always have to be 15 minutes of scales; try different technical studies or sight reading. If you are going to do scales, consider the keys of the pieces you are rehearsing. And as a cool-down, revisit a piece of music you already know well and enjoy.

4]Correct Singing Posture:

While singing a singer should pay a close attention to their posture. Correct posture has an enormous impact on our vocal potential. A correct posture will allow our muscles to work in a right way which will make singing easier, But a wrong posture will create tension in our muscles which will stop reaching you from reaching your true singing potential.

Here are some helpful tips for correct singing posture:

  1.  Always avoid bending your back and try to stand up or sit in a straight position.
  2. Always keep your chin parallel to the ground.

  3. Relax your body. If you are having a hard time relaxing, then take a deep breath and try shaking your body a   little and then regain your singing posture.

  4. Avoid shaking your hands, fingers or legs while singing, otherwise it will create a distraction and will also affect your singing posture.

  5. Always try holding your chest high to maximize your breathing capacity.
